A man from Basingstoke and a woman from Isleworth were arrested today (26/5) in connection with an investigation into money laundering and controlling prostitution. 

Officers from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit (SEROCU) carried out warrants at properties in Basingstoke and London. 

Two people were subsequently arrested and searches at these properties continue. 

A man, aged 43, and a woman aged 48, remain in police custody at this time.
