
Man charged with drug importation and firearm offences – Southampton/Essex
Following an investigation by the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit, working alongside Hampshire Constabulary, Border Force and the National Crime Agency a man has been charged with drug importation and firearm offences.
Marius Molla, aged 30 of no fixed abode was arrested on Friday (4/12) in Essex and charged the next day with the following offences:
· Being Concerned in the supply of cocaine.
· Importing a controlled drug of class A with intent to evade prohibition/restriction.
· Possessing a firearm.
· Converting criminal property
The charges are in connection with the search of a container at Southampton Docks by Border Force on Monday 30 November.
Molla appeared at Basingstoke Magistrates Court on Monday (7/12) and is due at Winchester Crown Court on 6 January 2021.
