Man charged in connection with drugs supply and importation offences

Officers from the South East Regional Organised Crime Unit have charged a man in connection with drugs supply and importation offences.

David Chippendale, aged 41, of Lambert Avenue, Richmond, was today (26/11) charged with;

  • Conspiracy to fraudulently evade the prohibition on importation in relation to a Class A drug – cocaine,
  • Conspiracy to supply a quantity of Class A drugs (cocaine),
  • Possession of criminal property (a quantity of cash)
  • Facilitating a person to leave the United Kingdom with intent to impede their apprehension or prosecution.

The charges relate to incidents throughout last year and this year.

Chippendale was remanded in custody to appear at Milton Keynes Magistrates’ Court today where he was further remanded to appear at Aylesbury Crown Court on 4 January.
