
Man charged in connection with drug investigation
Yesterday (9/8) a man was charged in connection with a drug investigation being carried out by the South East Regional Organised Dark Web Unit.
Alain Kirunda-Nsiiro, aged 37, of Higham Hill Road, Waltham Forest, London, was charged via postal requisition with one count each of conspiracy to supply a class A drug – heroin and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.
This is in connection with an investigation into the sale of drugs through the dark web between February 2020 and July 2022.
He is due to appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on 30 August.

Previously, two other men were charged in connection with the same investigation.
Malcolm Magala, aged 35, of no fixed abode, was charged with conspiracy to supply a class A drug – heroin, being concerned in the supply of crack cocaine and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.
Jerome Omard, aged 42, of Durban Road, Waltham Forest, London was charged with conspiracy to supply a class A drug – heroin and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property
They will also both appear at Reading Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday 30 August.
